About the Authors

Reuben Granich, MD, MPH and Jonathan Mermin, MD, MPH have worked in several countries on various aspects of HIV and tuberculosis, including education, medical care, epidemiology, public policy and laboratory research.

About the Illustrator

Mona Sfeir, MA has a degree in children's literature and illustration. She is currently working towards an MFA at the California College of Arts and Crafts. Her work has been shown in galleries and museums throughout the United States.
